No show of appreciation for hard work, you may receive kind words of affirmation however when you ask to be compensated it falls on deaf ears. No salary increases or incentives. some of the management can be robotic everything is by the book they do not think outside the box. As long as you are following the baseline rules, there should be room to make changes to fit your team's needs. it seems like not all departments get the same consideration when it comes to increass. it's always the same departments announcing promotions every year.
