Pros

The family that runs the company likes to think they are your overlords but the head producer quit today. Suddenly, they are not in control and it’s showing by their attitude. They are scrambling to maintain their sense of power,

Cons

Everyone in the office is wondering how long it will take the leaders of the company to find a way to fire the spouse of the person that quit. They are vindictive that way.

Pros

The location was convenient and people were friendly enough one on one, even if information never moved between them.

Cons

• Getting basic information from other teams took days and often had to be restarted due to delays • Important decisions were communicated late or discovered indirectly • No central system or shared documentation existed to track what had already been decided • Too much time was wasted chasing information stuck in inboxes or individual knowledge • Cross team communication was consistently broken, causing constant delays
