Pros
-Huge amount of creative freedom -Incredibly bright coworkers -Interesting and diverse work for engineers/techs -Flexible hours within reason -Laid-back/comfortable office environment (No dividing walls means you connect with your neighbors) -Hands on and practical (You can build what you design) -No hierarchy (You work for Peter, and your ideas don't lose validity based on "rank") -HUGE profit sharing (If you're around long enough)
Cons
-No hierarchy (Not always clear who is in charge of what, and "LowPOs" (EI Veterans) have entirely free reign regardless) -Hours can stretch long when short-staffed projects get close to a deadline. Its not enforced, but so long as you value your work you end up working a lot. -Moderately low pay, VERY slow initial increase (Although after 5 years, most do very well) -Liberals can definitely be at odds, however it is always respectful
