At first the job was the best job I ever had, after the honeymoon wore off it was the worst. The actual job itself, I loved it.

Everything was a con, office politics, cliques, managers, being yelled at, insulted, treated like an idiot every day, micromanaged, over time theft that is impossible to prove. Communication, work load, check INS and outs every day and not get paid for your time.

You’ll get plenty of exercise walking in circles wondering why leadership exists. Great place to build character — if you enjoy gaslighting, mismanagement, and being ignored. The opportunity to be a temp... indefinitely. Who needs benefits when you’ve got broken promises? Jack will teach you everything not to do in leadership — truly a masterclass. You'll learn how to do your job and everyone else's — for the same pay, of course. You might get a handshake from the COO if he remembers you. Spoiler: he won’t.

Management style: if “blame the floor workers” was a religion, they’d be saints. Zero accountability, unless you're the one without a title — then it’s always your fault. Leadership routinely ignores safety, quality control, and human decency. Racism and favoritism are alive and well, just dressed up in khakis and a clipboard. The only advancement is watching other people leave. Speaking up gets you labeled “difficult.” Staying quiet gets you steamrolled. Pick your poison. You will leave smarter... but only because trauma forces growth.
