Pros
Most of the kids are nice to work with, and it's fun to watch them grow and learn. Other techs are nice and were the only reason why I got up in the morning to go to work.
Cons
Management SUCKED. I have never been so hesitant to ask for help or seek advice in a job before. DO NOT think that you'll get paid above $22/hour. I know sites like Indeed and Ziprecruiter say that Emergent pays $18-$25/hour, but Emergent is lying. Even after you pass the RBT exam they only give you a $21/hour, which might seem like a good pay, but trust me it's not. The amount of stuff you go through in this environment will make you want a better hourly rate then $21/hour. The place is filthy, and unsanitary. There is fecal matter on the bathroom floor that doesn't get cleaned up. The Diaper Genie is always overflowing and doesn't get thrown out. I could go on and on. There's also a lot of ethical issues in this company with management. Also, I think the CEO or some type of management writes positive reviews on Indeed to make the job look appealing, which makes me laugh.
