Pros

Remote work. Flexible schedule- 10/80. Generally easy job.

Cons

Low pay for position compared to other contractor companies and similar positions. Have to maintain clearance. High security environment. Low margin of error allowed/easily fired even if you follow policy. Burn out is easy at this company.

Pros

They sign my paychecks, and stay out of the way for the most part.

Cons

I'm on contract to a company, and that company transferred all of its contracts to Encantado. It seems like Encantado probably offered a much cheaper deal to the company I actually do work for, and it shows. Encantado seems to be a shell company, and if you get a job from them you'll actually be working for one of three other companies. I wouldn't recommend them, however I do acknowledge that it could be a lot worse. They don't offer any value like my previous employer did, but they also don't get in the way much. They're mostly just a neutral middle-man between myself and the company I actually do work for.

Pros

You work at Sandia Labs and have the potential to get pulled directly over with them.

Cons

You work for a shady "Local" company which is just 4 other companies running it Ecs federal/Edgewater/Keylogic/Ammentum. When a company has presence on the stock market they should never be allowed to participate in something like this. Nobody actually works for Encantado but oh boy you better put that you work for Encantado in your email signature or you're gonna get a write up. There are far more negative things about working with this company such as each of the 4 that you might be assigned to have wildly different benefits for example if you get to work for Edgewater they give you an extra 4-5$ of pay to help with the cost of benefits. But if you work for one of the others good luck you're on your own, oh you have a family you need to pay benefits for hope you enjoy paying 1600$ for them. The pay is slightly below competitive with the rest of the market. Don't plan to move up in the company with out a fight. They lock you into positions for a year minimum. Even when that time period is up the management will collude to keep you in your current position as it would be worse for them to lose someone who knows the position than to allow you to grow and further your career.
