Pros

GOOD AT ACTING AND PRETENDING THEY CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS

Cons

-lying; the alteration of documents, including financial records -lying to clients - discrimination, sexual harassment, misuse of confidential information, lying to stakeholders, improper hiring and safety violations. - falsify financial information of their nonprofit organizations to conceal the embezzlement and misappropriation of funds -misuse of funding and lack of public trust -do not follow up with clients -Too many officers, directors and managers that make inflated salaries while the "little guy" is the real worker and doesn't get paid what he's worth. Office politics, childish backstabbing and gossip galore -all about getting grant money, but put up a front as if they care about veterans and their families -they hire only a specific type of ethnic group -they hire un-qualified family members -navigators are rude, malicious, prejudice, bias, etc

Pros

My experience as a Disaster Case Manager involved supporting families affected by natural disasters in a highly mobile, field-based role requiring extensive travel. No two days were the same, and the work was fast-paced, dynamic, and required adaptability in constantly changing environments. The role was meaningful and allowed me to provide trauma-informed, compassionate support to individuals and families during critical moments of need.

Cons

Over time, the demands of the role—including extensive travel, challenging field conditions, and limited safety supports—became difficult to sustain in relation to overall workload. These conditions contributed to increased stress and impacted staff morale. Concerns regarding field safety and the need for stronger protective measures were raised but were not consistently addressed through policy updates.
