Pros

They're very excited about becoming employee owned. Some good people with good intentions who tried to create a nice culture before the pandemic. Average benefits, but they have them.

Cons

Talks about growth and innovation constantly, but has remained completely stagnant for about 20 years. Too many aging engineers trying to wear too many hats, so other commissioning firms are light years ahead in terms of service offerings and sales ability. The arrogance of the engineers who have voted themselves into C-Suite and Principal roles is palpable and undeserved. COVID just magnified all of that. It's a place where good ideas and passion go to slowly suffocate to death.

Pros

Empowering and inclusive culture for female managers, I felt trusted and supported to lead and advance. Leadership is transparent, supportive, and invested in developing talent at all levels. Clear opportunities to grow through mentorship, cross-functional work and project ownership. Forward-thinking, collaborative environment that values initiative and innovation. Emphasis on work-life balance, with flexibility when needed. Employee-owned (ESOP) company offers a strong sense of shared purpose and long-term financial benefit.

Cons

Deadline-driven and fast-paced, which may feel intense for some, but it also pushes teams to deliver high-quality work and stay focused. High expectations and accountability, which can be demanding, but also create a strong culture of ownership. Internal processes are still evolving; some inefficiencies exist but reflect the company's growth trajectory.

Pros

Engineering Economics Inc. (EEI) is truly an exceptional place to work. In my experience, this company sets the standard for how organizations should treat their employees. The benefits are outstanding—comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtfully designed with employees' well-being in mind. What really sets EEI apart is the culture. The leadership genuinely prioritizes people over profit, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where you feel valued and heard. Teamwork, respect, and a strong sense of community are ingrained in every aspect of the company. It’s clear that everyone here is committed to each other's success. I’ve never felt more taken care of, professionally or personally, and I’m proud to be a part of this team.

Cons

No real cons to speak of. Every company has its challenges, but EEI handles them with integrity and clear communication.
