Pros
I was always treated well. They are less "corporate" than other establishments. In general, I was very happy here. Hard work was expected, but also appreciated, and in my experience, giving that little bit extra resulted in getting that bit extra, whether it be in terms of leaving early if need be, or working from home on the odd day here and there. And the people are lovely, there's great inter- and cross-team camaraderie, and your colleagues will often make the strain worthwhile through the tough times. I would work here again, it's a fast-paced, high pressure environment and I gained valuable industry knowledge.
Cons
As with most companies, there were ups and downs. Restructuring and acquisitions meant that there was/is much uncertainty. But I always felt that they strove to do what's best for the company (and I couldn't fault them in that). Internal communications could improve, and I'd warn against strippipng back too many perqs. There could be more focus on skills development and training, roles can be quite static and progression limited.
