Good remote flexibility but the ticket system and scheduling really need work - Service Desk Technician Enterprise Integration Employee Review

Pros

The company offers nice remote flexibility and I enjoy working on a good mix of technical issues every day. The team is generally friendly and people are willing to help each other out. I’ve been able to build up my troubleshooting skills as I’ve handled more tickets.

Cons

Some of the processes are outdated and could be improved to make things smoother. Communication between departments can be slow at times, and the workload feels uneven. There isn’t much clear direction on career growth or advancement. Schedules can change between nights and days with very short notice, and hours are usually 32 to 35 per week with limited overtime.

Pros

Great people and plenty of opportunity. Technologies are always changing and you're continually on the cutting edge.

Cons

Growth requires personal investment and doesn't happen overnight, but this is true for any position that is worth while.

Pros

Remote work flexibility was a major benefit and helped with work-life balance. The role offers exposure to core service desk responsibilities and is a reasonable entry point for gaining basic IT support experience as a short-term stepping stone.

Cons

Management pressure remained high even as staffing levels were reduced, leading to increased workloads and burnout. Compensation was low relative to expectations. Career growth opportunities were minimal, with employees reaching a ceiling quickly and little chance for promotion or skill expansion. When business slowed, the company appeared to handle reductions by terminating individuals rather than conducting formal layoffs, which created job insecurity and negatively impacted team morale.
