Pros

I worked at full-time for more than 5 years, and was once an amazing company. They Took a turn for the worst about a year ago.

Cons

They switched from using the name Inspira Marketing to Enthuse. Obviously if you have to switch your name, it should signal a red flag. Make sure to look at Inspira. It has a 2.5 rating and that's after they had their HR team write 5 star reviews attempting to do some damage control. My biggest issue is the lying. "We are all keeping our jobs" But as soon as the contract was up they let go of 70% of the employees and kept the PPP money! Tax payer money! The company has lost all ethical business practice. Which is especially sad considering the economic place Americans are in. Complete lack of company culture or values.

Enthuse Marketing Response

Thank you for your candor. While we appreciate your perspective, Enthuse Marketing Group and Inspira Marketing Group are, in fact, completely separate companies and entities. At Enthuse, we extremely proud of our heritage as a purpose-driven women-owned experiential marketing consultancy dedicated to employing new ways to drive growth for emerging hospitality brands. We are also proud of our partnership with Inspira and those journeys we have taken together. Further, we understand the frustration surrounding the unavoidable layoffs due to the economic impact of COVID-19. Although we moved quickly to try to retain as many jobs as possible for as long as we could, economic realities for both our agency and our clients forced us to make difficult decisions and reduce our workforce. We worked hard to inform employees of these decisions in a timely and transparent manner and deeply regret that more jobs could not be saved. It can be tempting to ascribe negative intent to the decisions that had to be made, to look for someone or something to blame. That is understandable in an indescribably difficult time. But there were no ill intentions here: as circumstances were changing on a daily basis, we were moving quickly to do what was best for our employees, our clients, and our viability as an agency. Unfortunately, there were no easy answers.

Pros

Free Nikes every year (until this year).

Cons

The agency exists to deliver numbers to Diageo. They have no idea how to train employees nor do they know what actually goes on in market. They zoom in on things that make no difference in the job at all (small expense charges, other random things that are business as usual) and blow them out of proportion. The budgets are laughable for sales reps in major metro areas. Some of my superiors had way less experience than me - literally some directly out of college and very obviously should have been interns - but we're getting salaries equivalent to mine. Super cliquey for all the wrong reasons and incredibly disorganized. Would throw any employee under the bus immediately as there's no loyalty either. An extreme shame for an agency that somehow was tasked with representing several booming brands. I was also sold this role as being an 'accelerator' role to get to work for Diageo proper. Total bait and switch - there are next to zero advancement opportunities here unless you become a weird agency shill and take one of their redundant roles that will be nonexistent in a few years. This company is also identical to Inspira Marketing no matter how they try to frame it. Both trash.
