Pros

Work from home opportunities with quality benefits

Cons

This is a long list. I’ll start with the turnover. Equiliem has always had very high turnover. People typically don’t stay at Equiliem very long, whether it be them getting terminated, let go for “restructuring” or even quitting on their own due to concerns over job security, the lack of raises, or the poor commission structure. In the past 1-2 years, easily 50+ employees have either been “let go” or resigned on their own. Executive leadership is another major issue. They’re so disconnected from the day to day operation that they make poor decisions about operational changes and they don’t understand the difficulties the production teams face on a day to day basis. We lost some really terrific staff members due to poor leadership over the years. The operational structure of the company is very flawed. Recruiters and Account Managers alike are not in control of their own success due to operational delays and inefficiency. Equiliem does NOT do annual raises. There are people working for Equiliem who have been making the same salary for years. I can even go as far to say that there are some people there who make less money than previous years due to changes in the commission and bonus plans.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback and for your many years of service with Equiliem. We truly appreciate the dedication you brought to your role and are glad to hear that you valued the flexibility of remote work and our benefits offerings. We recognize that the concerns you’ve raised around turnover, leadership alignment, operational structure, compensation, and commission consistency are significant. Feedback from long-tenured employees is especially important to us, as it reflects deep experience with the organization and its evolution over time. While periods of change and restructuring are sometimes necessary in a dynamic business environment, we acknowledge that these changes can have a real impact on employee morale, trust, and sense of stability. Improving communication between leadership and day-to-day operations, creating clearer and more efficient processes, and ensuring that our teams feel empowered and fairly rewarded for their contributions are areas we continue to evaluate and work on. We are actively reviewing our operational models and leadership practices to better support our recruiters, account managers, and production teams, and to provide greater transparency and consistency where possible. We appreciate your candor and your willingness to share your perspective. Feedback like this helps us identify opportunities to grow as an organization, and we wish you continued success in your next chapter.

Pros

My time at Equiliem showed me what it was like to be part of a team that works together, trusts each other, and genuinely wants each other to succeed. I am grateful for the relationships I made and the opportunities that helped me grow professionally and personally. I believe the culture at Equiliem is headed in the right direction, and my hope is that the sense of being supported, heard, and valued that I felt becomes something every team member across the company can feel. I wish nothing but the best for my colleagues and friends and am excited to cheer on Equiliem’s continued success from a new vantage point.

Cons

Lack of training and resources for the performance division, especially during first 90 days. It took me a long time to figure out what each department is responsible for, how we can/should work together, and where we stand in the staffing industry as a whole. I still feel like I have a lot to learn. This will get better as Learning and Development grows and silos between departments are broken down.

Pros

Co-workers are nice. You are able to get PTO at the beginning of the year.

Cons

The company is extremely unorganized. You are not allowed to work overtime, you will be burnt out constantly as they load you with work as opposed to hiring the help they need.

We're glad to hear that you built meaningful relationships with your coworkers and were able to use our Responsible Time Off program. However, we’d like to clarify that overtime is permitted when approved and aligned with business needs. We strive to balance workloads appropriately while supporting both employee well-being and business objectives.
