Pros

I worked for Equinix for almost 4 years and it was a career defining experience for me. Equinix is the leader in their space because of their focus on excellence. That focus goes into everything they do. Great people who are passionate about doing what's right. Great leadership. CEO rocks.

Cons

In my group there was a lot of change in leadership and the organization which was distracting. It was a little concerning in that there was not clear idea on when things might settle down. Sometimes it took longer to get things pushed ahead. There wasn't a good sense of the culture which might be different now.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are thrilled to read your positive comments about our employee population as well as company leadership, and we share your sentiments—Steve rocks! We hear you loud and clear on the importance of having a more defined sense of culture, as this has been a reoccurring topic of great significance related to several large initiatives that we have been working on this year. We look forward to sharing more of the details with both Equinix employees and followers later in the year. Be sure to connect with us on our social channels (Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+) to stay in the loop. Thank you, again, for your candid feedback. Engaged, transparent, and respectful communication is definitely the goal at Equinix. While we are fully committed to being better tomorrow than we are today, we rely heavily on feedback from employees like you to help us get there.

Pros

Company is strong financially. No chance of layoff. Many opportunities to work overtime if you want extra hours.

Cons

Very busy, they need to hire more people.

Pros

Hybrid which is nice, for what the job entails pay is ok I suppose at 60k. Every Wednesday there's food for employees.

Cons

Earlier in the year the frisco office was closed down, so many employees including myself who add living arrangements now have to travel 3 days a week to the downtown office. Which is 45 minutes + with traffic. On top of that the shift times suck as someone who appreciates work life balance. 7 am to 7 pm. I would also say that there are many organizational changes and career growth seems limited.
