Pros

During the interview process I would ask everyone, "Why Equinix?". The common answer was the people and the culture and they could not be more correct. Everyone from recruiting, interviewing, on boarding and the departments I deal with on a daily basis make this statement true. Polite, courteous and helpful as well as go above and beyond to make you feel welcome to the company. They talk about being transparent and they are. Information is power and they believe in sharing it openly. Great work life balance and offsite events are planned for employees to know that they are valued. The CEO and the executive team are visible, accessible and provide frequent communications.

Cons

I have not found any yet and don't expect to!!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and for sharing such specific feedback in your advice to management, as this is very much appreciated and will be passed along. We are also glad to hear about the wonderful account of your personal experience with the people and culture at Equinix. Those are two things that mean a great deal here at Equinix, and it is nice to hear that you experienced them the way we feel them.

Pros

Company is strong financially. No chance of layoff. Many opportunities to work overtime if you want extra hours.

Cons

Very busy, they need to hire more people.

Pros

Hybrid which is nice, for what the job entails pay is ok I suppose at 60k. Every Wednesday there's food for employees.

Cons

Earlier in the year the frisco office was closed down, so many employees including myself who add living arrangements now have to travel 3 days a week to the downtown office. Which is 45 minutes + with traffic. On top of that the shift times suck as someone who appreciates work life balance. 7 am to 7 pm. I would also say that there are many organizational changes and career growth seems limited.
