Pros

Staff. Can develop long term friendships Multi departmental with team effort to provide care. Patient population Making a difference for LGBTQ, black/brown and other POC; most have been mistreated or under treated in the past Great pharmacy staff at all locations Pretty good pay/benefits but not worth the stress/your health

Cons

-Leadership. Bullying. No trust from staff. —Start new processes without appropriate planning. Disorganized. Opening more medical centers and the current ones aren’t functioning well. READ THE REVIEWS FROM PATIENTS for yourself. -No transparency before major changes are announced that impact staff -The firing of several staff at one time; some of which helped build the organization -Toxic environment with people in fear of losing their job -No attempt for staff retention except general increase in pay but no change in work conditions -Allowing toxic staff to keep working despite write ups about sexism, racism, and name calling -Never worked at a place that both physicians and APRNs fear being fired. Crazy. Staff not appropriately supported when a patient makes threats, uses racial slur, and verbal harassment/gay bashing. Overall leadership toxicity Payment was made to some to prior staff that are no longer with the staff over a period of time while reporting financial strains then opening new medical centers. GOOGLE it. Inappropriate leadership behavior swept under the rug. That’s some….

Pros

Union representation that can help create some psychological and work safety

Cons

Toxic and negative supervisors, let's be honest about that. Classist supervisors that use intimidation to make staff feel inferior and feel like they can be fired at any time to discourage them from organizing and questioning their inadequate leadership. No focus on client outcomes, mission, or staff contributions. Supervisors just care about their pockets and being loyal to authoritarian management.
