Exhausted by not being heard by management - Veterinary Technician Ethos Veterinary Health Employee Review

Pros

Large facility. Multiple departments that feed off one another. Very busy. Open 24/7 The doctors are phenomenal, most of the technicians have good experience all around.

Cons

Understaffed beyond belief Management will sit with you when asked but eventually it feels like you’re continuing to have the same conversation about the same concerns, with no resolution. Then when you try to leave for a better environment - within the same company - they prevent you from moving on. Those who need training are expected to learn from those who aren’t their supervisors, becomes extremely frustrating.

Pros

Commitment to quality medicine, good benefits for support center teams, enterprise level commitment to growth and development

Cons

Little support of appropriate work/life balance, success in roles depend on Field Leader's knowledge, skills, and abilities which is challenging when the leader lacks veterinary experience and understanding of veterinary processes
