Pros

The overall experience Co-Workers Clients and Patients Learning Being able to move around in positions The hours Being a part of something that can be great

Cons

The work load for the pay is weak Lack of value in their employees Lack of awareness in how things are really being run in the company Double standards Two faced management Lack of training. They hang you out there and rely on the one's that don't sink to carry everything. Emotionally draining Likely to experience sheer disappointment at one point or another

Pros

Large facility. Multiple departments that feed off one another. Very busy. Open 24/7 The doctors are phenomenal, most of the technicians have good experience all around.

Cons

Understaffed beyond belief Management will sit with you when asked but eventually it feels like you’re continuing to have the same conversation about the same concerns, with no resolution. Then when you try to leave for a better environment - within the same company - they prevent you from moving on. Those who need training are expected to learn from those who aren’t their supervisors, becomes extremely frustrating.

Pros

There are no pros to working there.

Cons

VERC/Ethos promises a lot to their employees but never delivers. They never pay even close to a livable wage, raises are laughable, pompous managers are never willing to step in to help, techs that are truly there for the animals are too overworked and stressed to be able to properly train new hires, some long time 'head techs' are just downright unprofessionally rude to coworkers with no repercussions. Many of my old patient/clients and coworkers from there have complained to me after leaving. VERC has created a bad name for themselves in the community for lack of ohana and aloha.

I know that this review is from the beginning of the year and I apologize for the lack of reply until now. I recently started at Ethos as the Chief People Officer so I do want you to know that I've read what you have said and am committed to creating an environment and culture at Ethos that is different than what it seems you may have experienced. I wish you the best and thank you for your work while you were with Ethos. -Holly
