Pros
If you're a dinner server/bartender you can make decent tips on weekends
Cons
- poor management (the managers verbally abuse employees on a regular basis, practice favoritism, threaten to take away your shifts if you disagree with them in any way, micromanage every action, etc) - poverty wages for back of house employees - often send employees home after only two hours of working - no job stability as it is difficult to get more than three shifts per week if your a front of house employee. average employee probably only gets one to two shifts per week. - employees do not get paid sick days ( or even unpaid sick days) and are penalized if they don't show up for work because of illness without a doctors note. - managers do not take sexual harassment seriously - company does not offer any benefits (I.e. health insurance, dental, gain share, etc.) to employees.
