Pros
1. Likely to hire - even if only briefly 2. Team, at the time, were welcoming and helpful.
Cons
1. Hire-and-fire practices: I was hired under the job title of Investment Analyst. During my time there, I was encouraged, and sometimes told, to take on direct cold-calling sales tasks (by itself not necessarily an issue but definitely not within the job description). I would undergo these tasks when asked but wouldn’t go out of my way for them, due to it not being within my job description. Just less than 4 weeks later I was taken aside - at the very end of the day - to be told that the company had decided on a “Chance of direction”, that my role was no longer required, and my employment was terminated immediately. I’m not sure if it was a consolation or not, but I was told that it had nothing to do with my work it was just a decision that the company had made. 2. Strict clock-in/out procedure: Company is very strict on people clocking in/out for work. Tardiness would be deducted from payslips. I was always arrived 15 mins early however, one day I was 2 minutes late and very quickly told by management that would not be tolerated and it made it me look like I “Wasn’t a team-player”.
