Pros

International company operating in an evergreen market. English-speaking and friendly environment. High potential for profession development while, on average, excellent work/life balance. Appreciation of can do attitude, concreteness and result orientation. Good organisation and roles for conference management.

Cons

High work pressure in the last quarter of the year, when most of the conferences happen. No chance of getting full remote work agreement. To fully exploit its potential it needs changes in organisation that are happening maybe too slowly.

Pros

If you are ready to take responsibility and get your hands dirty, you could have a very fullfilling experience at EAI that will teach you a lot. You will experience a lot of freedom if you know how to color within the lines and do your job well. The biggest con (see below) is also its biggest pro. There is a lot to do in a relatively small and scrappy outfit and it's not for everyone but if you are up to the task, you will have many cool finished projects under your belt. Proactivity is encouraged and rewarded; expected above a certain level.

Cons

There is a lot to do in a relatively small and scrappy outfit. There are rough edges and you may be expected to do a lot of open ended problem solving so if you are looking for a smooth sailing in your new job, this very startup-like culture may not be for you. High turnover in some departments.

Pros

Good company with high qualified workers. I've had my internship there. Who wants to work in EAI must be a fast learner and excited to work in an international environment. The colleagues are very collaborative, when I needed help there was always someone ready to follow me.

Cons

Not easy to work in EAI if you are not passionate of that specific business. There is a lot of workload to digest during the last months of the year due to bigger conferences that take place all at once.
