Pros

Base salary was pretty good

Cons

-Micro managed at every turn. Management hounding staff over phone & email. -Churn 'em & burn 'em attitude to sales - very sleazy salesman approach from the top down. -Terrible relationships with customers due to lack of care and only caring about winning the deal. This has led to the customer retention rate being incredibly low. -Management expect emails & phone calls from them to be responded to 24/7, those who don't answer late night calls are frowned upon. -Zero training provided on the products & services the company provide. Questioning this will not be well received and met with "we sell it, we don't use it" -Colleagues had negative opinion of the business and made it very clear to new starts. - Very much a "who you know not what you know" company.

Pros

In a changing industry where their main vendor changed the rules it is hard to adapt. The company has tried to adapt to this change with a broadening of services and starting to concentrate on value add rather than box shifting product. Some really smart people, especially the professional consultants and much improved with a new MD.

Cons

When I was there the management is too old school. The business runs as a traditional sales organisation with 100% focus on the sales person fitting into a certain "box". No real idea how to manage millennials. Saw some terrible treatment and firings of staff while I was there with clearly not HR support. Terrible appointments of managers too who got rid of good staff because they didn't fit into their sales "box".
