Pros
Flexibility with schedule. Autonomy. Nice students
Cons
Upper management is completely disconnected from those working at schools. . Expatiate is extremely cheap and does not give adequate compensation, raises, or stipends. The benefits are terrible. If you want a 401k you’ll need to wait a year, and then they will match 1.5%, which is lower than any other matching program you'll probably ever encounter. You will not get bonuses. Sending other employees $5-$10 bonuses each month is not a bonus. They will come up with any excuse to not give you a raise and to not pay you for materials. They will not pay you overtime despite requesting help from staff after regular working hours. During my time at this company, I felt undervalued and disrespected on several occasions. I never felt supported and appreciated. I was initially excited to work here because it seemed like a supportive and nurturing environment but this is nothing more than a facade to bring you into the company.
