High turnover and unfair distribution of salary increases - Consultant Expeditus Employee Review

Pros

You will learn to work under pressure very quickly Exposure to multiple responsibilities due to chronic understaffing

Cons

The company has an alarmingly high turnover rate. Nearly 20 employees either resigned or were terminated this year alone, and the company has failed to replace them at a comparable pace. As a result, the workload has increased significantly for remaining staff. Management sees this increase in staff turnover and their response to retaining the remaining staff members is to filter out who they suspect is going to leave next and only give those people increases even though it’s not annual review season

Pros

You will learn how to cope in a dysfunctional environment and do your best to stay afloat with minimal to no support. You will also learn how to manage situations where “leaders” consistently tear their team down so they remain on the top. AKA, there aren’t any pros.

Cons

Awful communication, highly obnoxious management that frankly don’t seem to know left from right, really poor team structure. The company offers minimal pay, no bonus, and the “employee of the year” award is legitimately a rock (they call it the rock solid award), with minimal to no financial benefits. All employees work unpaid overtime and seem extremely depressed. This is as abusive as corporate can get. If you want to grow an actual career, it’s not here. Do yourself a favour and keep looking, I can assure you the grass is greener on the other side (and never at Expeditus).

Pros

Leaving was the best career decision I’ve ever made. You’ll gain patience, emotional resilience, and a front-row seat to how not to run a company.

Cons

Expeditus is the definition of dysfunction. Leadership thrives on double standards, poor communication, and selective enforcement of rules. There’s no transparency, only favoritism, gossip, and power trips. The CEOs are unprofessional, dismissive, and have no sense of accountability. Instead of leading, they intimidate and manipulate, and everyone else just follows out of fear. HR exists in name only. Don’t waste your time reporting anything; they’re there to protect management, not employees. Discrimination and racial insensitivity are brushed aside, and if you dare to speak up, you’ll be painted as “the problem.” There’s zero growth, zero respect, and zero integrity. The environment is toxic, morale is always low, and good people either quit or mentally check out. If you value your peace, self-respect, or career progression, stay far away.
