Pros

Cons

Quite possibly the worst company I've ever worked for. The company wants to build a new PPC division for IT without any clear leaders or direction on how to do so. They seek others from others to assist in building the model and workflow process by stealing operational intelligence without any credibility, no visibility, prestige, and professional growth which breaches most non-competes. Compensation is low in comparison to their competitors in which they firmly believe to be competitive. Technology is antiquated which is surprising for a company that generates millions a year and a parent company that generates billions a year. This provides gaps in the business and lost data that many don't know that exits or can't access because they use a third party solution providers to manage. Millions of lost revenue and makes their employees work much harder than needed (churn and burn). Also, you only have 3 platforms to use in your practice: LinkedIn Recruiter, CareerBuilder, and a proprietary CRM that honestly is used to store contracts and placed candidates. There is no tracking system so you're constantly overlapping with other recruiters and sales team. Lack of leadership and knowledge. A guy who has worked alone for 5 years and wants to lead a team because of seniority not by actual and demonstrated experience in orchestrating a team. Another guy who comes from a contingent staffing background who doesn't understand IT at all and constantly asks for scripts, business development plans, work flow models for sales, recruitment and internal teams, requirements for an intern, requirements for a new recruiter, etc. -- makes you wonder when he can use his title to make executive-level decisions? Did he ever implement any models? What are his examples of successes can we follow or implement in our day to day? If he is constantly asking us for help, how can I feel comfortable in asking him for help to answer my questions or concerns? No support from a team that doesn’t know you exist?- you are managing EVERYTHING. Although the team size is large, everyone works and acts in silos. You may see their names in mass email exchange across the nation, but you'll never meet them or see them in the office or have a clear understanding of their role. Culture? That doesn't exist here.
