Pros

There are many facets to this business and the culture therein varies greatly. The on site offering has a great client base. London office is nice but feels like a school playground at times! No sales atmosphere!!!

Cons

Experis is part of Manpower and is losing a lot of autonomy with unilateral decisions being made against which Experis has no voice. I was due to be on a development programme that was cancelled by Manpower... I am not sure what is going on now. There seems to be a constant turn over of staff especially in the traditional recruitment part of the business. There is a big divide between the board and the rest of the business no idea how some of them got there- no new thinking. The business does not offer anything in the business mix that is different from the market. There is no clear strategy other than do more for less! There is no accountability, bad managers are kept in the business and continue to wreak havoc. We don't seem to be able to attract experienced consultants to our organisation and those who do come with experience don't last very long.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review; we value feedback like this from all our colleagues. We understand how important development is to our employees - it’s a core part of our vision and we’re committed to getting this right. We have recently taken the opportunity to review and enhance our development programmes, and you’ll soon see a host of new and exciting resources including a new digital learning platform, career toolkits, an enhanced induction programme, and a coaching initiative for our leaders. We’re also working on a big project to enhance our employee value proposition to ensure we continue to attract and retain the best talent. With regards to how Experis fits into our family of brands, it’s true that there are many differences between the various parts of our business. However we feel that being part of ManpowerGroup and being able to work closely across the wider business brings with it lots of opportunities – for knowledge sharing, learning and development, and career mobility, as well as offering a comprehensive suite of skills and expertise to our clients. We’re committed to encouraging even more collaboration within ManpowerGroup, while maintaining and celebrating what makes Experis unique. If you have any questions or concerns, please do send me an email at geoff.smith@experis.co.uk.
