Pros
- The Professional Services team is well-managed - Excellent work/life balance, you can mostly work remotely and with flexibility - Some of the projects are among the hardest ones you can find in the NLP world (excellent to gain experiences on real use cases and grow professionally) - Some incredibly talented people, especially in the tech department (and also several middle managers are extremely capable)
Cons
- Top management is enamored of their technological approach, which is now mostly outdated, and did not respond well enough to the LLM boom (and the R&D department had warned the top management about LLMs and their NLP capabilities for information extraction, which was dismissed by the top management) - Extremely poor communication from the top management - Salary increases are rarely offered, but if you receive an offer from an external company a counter offer magically appears (meek people may never get a salary increase) - Other managers are incredibly poor (it really depends on the team you work for)
