- Top management is enamored of their technological approach, which is now mostly outdated, and did not respond well enough to the LLM boom (and the R&D department had warned the top management about LLMs and their NLP capabilities for information extraction, which was dismissed by the top management)
- Extremely poor communication from the top management
- Salary increases are rarely offered, but if you receive an offer from an external company a counter offer magically appears (meek people may never get a salary increase)
- Other managers are incredibly poor (it really depends on the team you work for)
