Pros

-Many free hats, I get to do 3 peoples jobs and only get paid for 1! -Managers are super nice when corporate is around! -Humble paychecks, I wouldn't know what to do if I actually got paid for the amount of work I do. -You get cute notes from managers that don't like you because you don't kiss donkey or had to call out because your car got totaled and had no way to get to work. They call them write-ups I think... they sign them and everything even make up lies about you that they made up in their heads. So thoughtful -Never needed a vacation my 2 years of working I wasn't allowed to take one! - Managers don't bother to update you on new policys and updates from corporate. Who needs to know whats going on with the company you work for anyway?!

Cons

-Site managers lie to district managers who then lies to the regional managers so that everything seems peachy... or so that everything is the gsrs and housekeepings fault. -Favoritism but still one big family. -Toxic toxic toxic work environment. - If a company has to ask employees to give good Glassdoor reviews like this one...maybe its not so good? Just a thought. -Most site managers are under qualified to be managers. -Super unprofessional its like high-school but everyone is 35+ with kids and back pain. -Gsrs are used to obtain other guests companies and business info so that managers can send it in to corporate so they can get bonuses. Super cool!

Pros

Great leadership from management! My GM has really taken me under her wing and ensures I have all the knowledge & tools available to be the best I can be. She goes above and beyond for the entire staff, consistently shows her gratitude, and never asks anything of the staff that she isn’t willing to do herself! Customer service is my favorite line of work and the only work I’ve ever done. ESA is my first hotel job, and I feel so at home with the company. When I was initially hired, I was just looking for a way to make ends meet. I’ve been with ESA for over 90 days now, and I have grown to love being a part of this company. I am in it for the long haul, and look forward to growing with this company and advancing my career!

Cons

I have no cons. My employment so far has been amazing!
