Pros

job security is there if you do your job well. easy going. awesome co-workers. love my manager 88% of the time. flexible schedule when requsting off.

Cons

Lack of security for the employees. Im a female, and I work alone at night from 3-11pm. Which I am expected to go into rooms and deliver dishes because some dingaling thought it was a good idea to take all the dishes out of the rooms. And you'll have no life. So say goodbye to your friends You have to deal with all sorts of nut jobs, and usually by yourself. You name it, prostitues, junkies, suicidal junkies, wife beaters, alcoholics to urinate and defecate all over the rooms, drug dealers, pimps. I've had my fair share of run ins with not so pleasant people. After telling a prositute to leave one night, there was a giant suv circling the lot at the end of my shift with the prostitute inside and im sure her pimp driving. I ended up not leaving that night, as i was too afraid to go home and have them know where I live. Then your DM will force you to check in a bi-polar lady who is screaming at you at the top of her lungs, for not having the proper identification stated in the policy. WHY? "if she calls corp. we'll just have to give her free things" I'm sorry, why not show your employees a little bit that you care. Especially since I am working alone at night. The company preeches policy policy policy, but has complete void of such values at the drop of a dime aka "im calling corp" we get annual raises, which is nice. However, it doesn't come all at once. you'll first get maybe half the raise. Unless you notice you didn't get all you're entitled to, you'll never know. You have to go back n forth with whoever in what ever office to get the rest of it squared away. At least they will backdate and give you what they owe. Other employees can be lazy as lazy could possibly be, and it's okay. No consequences. No write up. They can be late, no problem. All for the sake of pretty much not dealing with them. I have to save overall this place is a disappointment. I'm thankful for my job and my job security, but they will throw you under the bus at the drop of a time and have no problem with making you deal with drug dealers and pro's by yourself.

Pros

Great leadership from management! My GM has really taken me under her wing and ensures I have all the knowledge & tools available to be the best I can be. She goes above and beyond for the entire staff, consistently shows her gratitude, and never asks anything of the staff that she isn’t willing to do herself! Customer service is my favorite line of work and the only work I’ve ever done. ESA is my first hotel job, and I feel so at home with the company. When I was initially hired, I was just looking for a way to make ends meet. I’ve been with ESA for over 90 days now, and I have grown to love being a part of this company. I am in it for the long haul, and look forward to growing with this company and advancing my career!

Cons

I have no cons. My employment so far has been amazing!
