The position is heavily centric on customer service which can be challenging at times especially working with the general public
We are the face of the company and if the customer has experienced a rate increase or another problem with our company, we are required to try and de-escalate and calm angry or upset customers. We can experience run -ins with people that are living in or stealing from our facilities. It feels like we are almost police at times in that you have to stand your ground with unstable people. It can be unnerving at times especially since the store is usually only run by 1-2 people. You might be by yourself at the facility most times.
