- a sense of job security because there are not a lot of competition for positions - good for people who's looking for stability since turnover rate is not high - a growing company within the past 5 years
Cons
- potentially gets stuck at a position since promotion seems slow - employees tend to settle and became comfortable in their positions rather than looking for new challenges - must clock in and out
