Pros
Extron puts a heavy focus on new hire training; they have a dedicated internal training program for all new hires. It allows the employee to learn about the hundreds of products Extron sells and how those products are used by its customers. Work-life balance is pretty good. Depending on your position, you have a desktop computer and no company cell phone. When you clock out, you're done. Extron will let you do as much as you can take on especially if you have the initiative. If you're successful at it, you get compensated and promoted for it. As the title of my review states, the company is strong and competitive. There's no lack of work.
Cons
Sometimes it is hard to steer the ship in a different direction. It may take a long of chain of management needs to sign off. Time off is pretty standard: nothing impressive/nothing unfair.
