Since joining EyeSouth, I’ve experienced tremendous personal and professional growth, thanks to the strong mentorship and leadership here—it truly stands apart from any other place I’ve worked. Success at this company requires a proactive mindset, a willingness to ask questions, and a VERY strong work ethic. The reward is not only in career development and financial growth, but also in knowing that the work directly impacts the practices we support—helping them improve patient care and operate more efficiently. All benefits begin on day one or within the first 1-2 months, which I really appreciated—especially since many companies require a waiting period before benefits take effect. Senior leadership is approachable and genuinely supportive, and I’ve felt like a valued part of the team from day one. Each year I've been with the company, I've received bonuses and raises, along with clear, constructive feedback on my professional growth. I look forward to continuing my growth here as the company expands.

Cons

This is an incredibly fast-paced and demanding environment that may not be the right fit for everyone—but for those who like a challenge, know how to meet deadlines or manage their workloads, the rewards and sense of accomplishment are well worth it.

Pros

Given that the company is owned by investors, they have the financial backing for new innovations and ideas.

Cons

The revolving door of 'directors' at the corporate level leaves middle management at the local affiliate level confused and exhausted. The constant change of ideas, protocols and policies, with demands to implement them, with no offer of extra manpower to deliver makes working with this company next to impossible. Each new director of a department comes with new ideas to be implemented. There are way too many chiefs and definitely not enough indians. They want to hire employees at the lowest dollar level possible but demand extraordinary feats of accomplishment within an 8 hour day.
