Pros

the SEO/organic team was the only redeeming factor, but nearly the whole team is gone now.

Cons

The cons are so extremely prevalent that it's hard to layout. To start, everything drips down from the CEO, who is an absolutely unprofessional, disrespectful nightmare. I can't believe he's managed to keep the company alive this long. From there, the attitude affects the partners, then the managers, supervisors, everyone else. Everyone is pissy every minute of the day and craps on everyone else. The expectation is to be online and working ALL hours of the day. It's perfectly OK in their minds to demand immediate turnaround at 11pm after you've gone to sleep, which will literally get you screamed at in the morning when you see that ridiculous request. The culture sucks. The pay sucks. The "strategies" are even worse. I left as soon as possible.

Pros

- Challenging work that translates into true business results - Client engagement from the highest levels (c-suite and board members) to media channel/platform experts - Room for career development, many promotions are seen for people who stick around - Founder of the company genuinely cares about the people who work there and wants to have a true work hard, play hard family culture - Opportunity to work with the biggest Fortune 500 companies in the world - Best pay and benefits I’ve heard of from any agency/consulting firm

Cons

- Short projects can create stressful work situations, albeit temporary - Weekly travel (although this could be a pro for some) - Large company politics, such as strict review cycles and title changes led outside of organization

Pros

FRWD employs some of the smartest and most talented people with whom I've ever had the chance to work. I was constantly in awe when it came to new ideas and approaches for clients. Not to mention the culture as a whole - and the rapport employees have with each other. From happy hours to bi-weekly team lunches to a ball pit - yes, a ball pit - the place was a blast.

Cons

The pace at which things move at FRWD may be a turn off for some. It's incredibly exciting and fast-paced. If that isn't your working style, you may not be best suited to work there. You may be asked to do things and do them well, though you have zero experience doing them. It's a very "drink from the firehose" environment, but you're so much better for it after having gone through it.
