Pros

I always liked the people at Facet/Nerds on Call. Management is made up of good people who seem to spend time at all the locations. People are knowledgeable and work hard, no slackers. Some people complain about the billable system but as long as you actually do your work then you have nothing to worry about. Good procedures and clear instructions on what to do, helpful because a lot of customers can be hard to deal with. Coworkers are always willing to answer questions and help with issues. Youre held to a high standard but that means less customers leave unhappy. They'll pay for your certifications to help you advance. Some people have worked here for a long time and get promoted for getting degrees and certs. They let you do what you need to and give room to grow if youre smart and motivated

Cons

You do have to work with customers, and they are sometimes a pain. Some people here can be nasty and I dont know why, there are a few employees who are always rude when everyone else is helpful and nice. Pay is pretty standard for repair work but most of the techs dont have degrees. It's a small business and a low stress job, so its pretty alright

Pros

The team is great to work with from the technicians to the devs. Their engineer is top tier.

Cons

Management is basically just family members and the owners inner circle of people who laugh at his jokes. The owner consistently boast about how well the company is doing and how they are posting record revenues while bragging about his new grill and boat but not raising salaries. Get in, get experience and get gone.
