Pros
Management is pretty laid back allowing for employees to work how they work best. Incentives to continue education via certificates or degrees.
Its a great foothold for those who are interested in technology, but not for much else
Cons
Long hours, lots of overtime, and a flawed billable system. The pay is pretty low considering the skills it takes to do the job.
The incentive to sell product inshop is so low and limited to very few of the products, that its not worth the sale. Bonus' are based off of billable which means your bonus' are effected by slow weeks, long hours, and customers not approving repairs in a timely manner.
While the pro of management being laid back is good most of the time, it causes conflicts in scheduling and not knowing who is supposed to be where most of the times.
Schedule is done weekly, but its hard to trust as hours change on the fly based on where management thinks it needs you.
Management and HR will talk about other employees in front of other employees either toting about performance or judging them poorly over something.
Most new employees we get, we lose due to poor training on our part which management doesn't take the time to find someone to train them. Most of the time they expect the job to get done without caring about how or who does it.
