Pros

Federated has a great training program to set you up for success and my supervisor and manager are supportive and open to feedback. This company is growing with opportunities for advancement. The benefits are unheard of - 401K match, pension, healthcare costs are low, paid parental leave, and much more! Moving to a new location in area in a few months that will also add amenities we don't currently have. Federated overall is a great company to work for.

Cons

Handling auto claims can be a grind at times, but it's rewarding to help people every single day. It is full-time office role but with alternate work schedules and flexibility options.

Pros

Hands down, the best employment culture of any company I’ve worked for in my 25+ years practicing law. Federated is a true rarity - a company that genuinely lives its corporate values every day, in decisions both large and small. Leadership listens to employees with curiosity and a willingness to improve, not defensiveness or indifference. There’s a common refrain that if a company takes care of its employees, those employees will, in turn, take care of customers. I’ve never seen that philosophy embraced or executed as successfully as it is at Federated. Success is recognized and rewarded, teamwork - or “interdependence,” as we call it - is the norm, and challenges or setbacks are treated as opportunities for constructive feedback and growth. And that’s before even mentioning the outstanding compensation and benefits. I recommend Federated wholeheartedly and without reservation to friends and family.

Cons

Business formal dress code for more senior positions may be a bit antiquated.
