Pros

The free coffee that you have to make yourself. The relatively new office is nice.

Cons

If you grabbed a Dixie cup and stood on an exit ramp begging for change, you'd probably make more money and be treated better. The owner's royal subjects (his children) are neither qualified nor professional enough to be in the positions they hold. If you want to be monitored like you're taking the SAT this is the job for you. Expect to be shamed for the basic human desires such as using the restroom or filling up your water. Left a piece of paper on your desk? Shame. Head for the exit at 4:29 instead of 4:30? High treason. Save your printer's ink and don't print your resume for this place.

Pros

Good work life balance - no expectation of overtime, no weekends, holidays off Great benefits - 100% company paid insurance. In addition, they add to your 401k once you are eligible, even if you aren’t contributing yourself. PTO is also generous for US standards, not earned per hour put given at the beginning of the year and you are encouraged to take it. Learning culture - you can continue to test and learn, even outside of your main position if you are interested, but it’s not required. Good culture - I’ve never been made to feel bad for taking a break or getting a snack during the day, even during busy times. They try to cross train so that when things are busy there are plenty of hands to help as well Pay is on the high end of competitive in my opinion.

Cons

Like most jobs, there are busy times of the year that can be stressful. If remote work is important to you, there is currently no regular option for this This is a small company, so there aren’t a lot of layers of management for advancement. If your concern is having a title, that van be an issue, but as I mentioned they compensate well for growth in role/responsibility
