Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

Benefits have continually been taken away. Pay sucks. No room for growth or advancement. Be ready to feel stupid and belittled. Constant negativity from the top down. Unless you’re a member of the royal family aka the owner’s son or daughters you will get no respect and you better show them respect or you’ll be in trouble. They tell everyone what to do even though none of them would be in any kind of leadership role if they weren’t working for their dad. Morale is pathetic. Not a single person enjoys going to that office. Working there was a huge mistake.

Pros

The free coffee that you have to make yourself. The relatively new office is nice.

Cons

If you grabbed a Dixie cup and stood on an exit ramp begging for change, you'd probably make more money and be treated better. The owner's royal subjects (his children) are neither qualified nor professional enough to be in the positions they hold. If you want to be monitored like you're taking the SAT this is the job for you. Expect to be shamed for the basic human desires such as using the restroom or filling up your water. Left a piece of paper on your desk? Shame. Head for the exit at 4:29 instead of 4:30? High treason. Save your printer's ink and don't print your resume for this place.

Pros

- Company-paid health and dental insurance - Regular, non-changing schedule - Everyone works the same shift M-F and is expected to leave on time with no holidays or weekends worked. - Nice Christmas party - Employees are invited to agent dinners or events when appropriate - Pay is decent for someone just starting out

Cons

- Very little chance of advancement if you are not a family member of the owner of the company - Micromanagement - My team knew our jobs pretty well and were good at what we did, and we had management constantly reaching out to us on random work items, some that were already taken care of - Very strict on time - Hope you do not get behind an accident on the way to work, and make sure you go to lunch on time and on the dot. We all knew the phones needed to get covered, but there is no difference in overlapping lunches for a few minutes if someone gets away late versus a meeting that takes an hour every week, pulling everyone away from the phones. We had a lunch that was barely enough time to go anywhere if we wanted, while the owner's family went out every day and took double the time the rest of us got. That left a bad taste in my mouth. - Very stringent office environment - While employees don't need to be allowed to run amok, most people need five minutes every few hours throughout the day to get up and stretch their legs and maybe get to know their coworkers, which builds morale. I felt like I'd be looked down upon if I took any breaks other than my allotted 30-minute lunch break. - They removed the option to work remotely in the case of illness, forcing anyone who got sick to use their little PTO time instead of working from home and taking stress off coworkers if they were willing to.
