Pros

This is a good place to start if you don't have much experience. It is easy to be promoted here.

Cons

This company takes pride in reducing the UK's mental health but please let me explain in detail how this works exactly. This is a call center that reduces absences for large organisations by putting them through a 3-5 minute call to record details. With heavily scripted calls and mandatory nurse conversations it is no surprise that it makes employee's more paranoid to be at work whilst they are ill. not to mention the amount of upset callers I've heard who have been suffering from a bereavement or have cancer but because our records are really that 'important' they have to stay on the line. The security in this building is outdated, making me worried on behalf of the millions of employee's with their personal information at risk. I worked within an administrative/clerical role and have first hand experience on the file system they have for all employee's of FirstCare. There are still ex-employee records up-to 5-10 years after they have left. I know for a fact my records are still left on the system despite they have told me it would be removed, they simply cannot be bothered. This is just another Call Center.

Pros

My supervisor was a very nice lady, and she gave me good reviews when she could.

Cons

The company had an across the board 'scoring' system, and even if you rated 5 stars (out of 1-5) the supervisors could only give you 3. There was zero incentive to do or be better, so why bother?
