Pros

35 hour weeks, good work-life balance, Smart & stimulating co-workers- none of the obnoxious banker/sales type - much more thoughtful

Cons

Very hierarchical- even with the support staff, so there is a class system. Jr Analysts working surveillance are often thrown in the deep end & Fitch is lucky that their employees are so smart ,conscientious& have such high integrity. Non analytical staff is expected to be in the office even during a weather advisory or will have to use a PTO day. The lower the title, the less the vacation - there is a significant discrepancy. You also do not have the option of working remotely.on most of the perks- Also pay scale is under market, but the trade off is you can leave at 5pm and have dinner with your family
