Pros

Teammates were the only thing keeping me there; unfortunately, for Flotek, most of them have now left

Cons

The directors lied to me for 2 years and promised me a position that I was never given, even though I worked in that post for over 2 years. I was the only person performing that role. I excelled at my post and found it frustrating to listen to the customers' complaints about service. Things like trust pilot reviews were engineered and do not represent the true feelings of customers, and now that most of the experienced staff have left, the customers are also leaving. The purple pie promise was also a lie, if people actually read the contract, there are multiple get out clauses and the goals required to achieve payment are not possible. When I left I gave 3.5 months notice as I wanted the chance to cause little disruption to the customers as I had been looking after the security for many of them for years and genuinely wanted to help. I was given a leaving interview and gave honest feedback as requested and they took this personally (confirmed by an insider source) I was then unlawfully dismissed with 1 months notice, and I am in the process of pursuing a tribunal for compensation, as after discussing this with ACAS they have clearly broken employment law. When I pointed this out to their HR representative, they said they would agree to disagree. There were also cases of sexual misconduct and these were ignored despite evidence proving they had occurred.

Pros

Great bunch of people in the struggle with you. Some good software used. Exposure to a lot of different technologies.

Cons

Management attitude is so bad, if you are even slightly negative you are labelled as duck and pretty much an outcast. Wages are not great in comparison to similar roles. Unhappy customers, so many customer are un happy with the level or service they receive - However flotek continually chose to say the CSAT score is perfect. There is zero career progression, the only way to progress your career is hope somebody in a more senior position leaves - Which give staff turn over probably won't be long. Zero support from management or senior members of staff, when things go wrong it involves every man and his dog getting involved but people like the head of service refuse to accept any responsibility, accountability or take ownership. The office basically functions on like a perfect mix of absolute stress and anxiety - So much so that numerous staff members have had mental health issues.
