Pros
- Engaged, friendly, considerate, and compassionate leadership from Nick and Matt. I think you would struggle to find anywhere with leadership more dedicated to creating a welcoming and comfortable place to work. - I have personally felt secure and supported when going through difficult times outside of work and witnessed the same care and empathy extended to my colleagues. This is not a cut-throat work-first company, this is a people-first team working towards a shared vision. - I can not speak to all of ExCo, but those who I work with closely are all incredibly thoughtful, humble, and always ready to listen. - The company doesn't feel very top-down at all. Nick is always requesting feedback from the entire team and thoughtfully considering everyone's perspective. He also takes the time to learn what people do, so he never dictates or assumes, he educates himself to properly engage in discussion across the business from marketing to ops to tech. - Since I've been with Fluro, Graham (CPO) and Jenny (General Counsel) joined ExCo. Historically, I've been wary of new ExCo hires - I've seen some absolutely selfish, ignorant, and obtuse people welcomed into "positions of power". Graham and Jenny are absolutely cut from the same cloth as Nick and Matt. Warm, kind, and selfless with their time, they extend help wherever it is needed. I don't know how Nick found them, but it's comforting to know that his team are in such good hands.
Cons
- Not yet as tech-forward as we'd like to be but absolutely on the right track after great investment news this year, new hires, and an updated roadmap
