Pros

Remote work environment, but pretty much nothing else Possibly better if you are an engineer since it is quite tech-led

Cons

Terrible environment if you are interested in furthering a product career. Only focus is cost management and extreme status reporting, no actual product work

Pros

Its great working remotely, I have a little boy with ADHD and Autism so having flexibility to dash to his school to collect him when a mishap happens (which is relatively often) is essential for me. Also, its great being home with him after school as he gets funny around other people and its not that easy to find care. So I love being remote it really is essential for me. I like the changeable nature of the work I do.

Cons

Flux has some gaps in processes which can make things tricky when dealing with our clients. With no back end process well defined it can sometimes mean we go to 5 different people for the answer to a question or for support/help. Client centric mindset - its just not there. Unless you are in a client facing role the back end staff who just do engineering work can sometimes come across as being bothered when those of us that are client facing need dates, need things delivered on time etc we need more of a client centric attitude to get the entire team to understand why we are here. If our clients are not happy we don't get paid as an organisation. I think it would be great to get that message clear to all staff client facing or not and maybe rotate people so they get to feel what its like working with a client and understand these are real people, with real needs paying real money they are not just an afterthought.
