      Wasted potential - toxic culture

      Fully remote, some great people, huge potential (but thoroughly wasted)

      Cons

      Flux is the poster child for the phrase "the fish rots from the head"! The exec team are a equal mix of incompetence and lack of capabilities - with stars not allowed to shine as the CEO and her husband (the CPTO), along with their bestie the CCO run a very average ship. The business lacks any strategic direction, treats clients and staff with the same level of distrust and lack of loyalty and unfortunately the problems are everyone else's fault. The software itself is ok - with the right vision, might be a real winner.

      Toxic work environment

      Pros

      Fully remote company. People on the ground doing the work are passionate about the work they do and want to make a difference.

      Cons

      A lot of blaming and finger pointing. No strategic direction with goal posts constantly changing. Company trying to grow at a rate that it is not ready for. People are burnt out and senior management don’t seem to care. High staff turnover and a lot of feedback provided for change but things still remain the same. Would not recommend!

      Great company overall

      Pros

      - Remote first approach so a lot of people are able to work from wherever they want - People are always willing to help out where needed - Has a start up feel to it so not as many loopholes to jump through to get things done - Annual camp that brings all employees together is a great approach to company culture - Work with a lot of stakeholders

      Cons

      - Remote first also makes connection difficult - Company values should drive more of the work that is done at the company on a daily basis
