Pros

Saying that you are employed.

Cons

They will find every way to avoid enforcing company policy on managers when it comes to anti-discrimination and anti-retaliation claims, knowing that the manager was wrong for their actions towards employees. They will move managers to other stores instead of properly firing them for numerous HR complaints by other employees, and in some instances, promote a supervisor to another position in order to avoid having to directly supervise that employee. If you are an employee and complain to HR about a supervisor, HR will help that supervisor find a way to discipline you over the smallest instance, in comparison to that supervisor violating federal and state employment laws. Overall, HR along with district and store managers don't have the slightest clue on how to handle employees' personal issues in relation to their professional career, such as with coming out with their sexual identity or trying to receive the necessary training for the job they were hired for when that supervisor chooses to listen to their friends instead of their close supervisor and using the schedule as a weapon.

Pros

They (management) can be reasonable at times, such as with your breaks and scheduling.

Cons

My current management isn't giving me enough hours to be even decently sustainable, yet they have open-shifts available that they could assign to anyone, so why not give those hours to people who are severely underscheduled? If you want your workers to work for you, treat them right and compensate them fairly, and stop expecting them to come in everytime you text them just because someone else called out, maybe you need to give the people who constantly call out less hours because they aren't being reliable, and you need to give more hours to the people who do come to work and get things done, because they've proven to be reliable and willing to come in on their assigned days.
