Pros

The only pro is the lovely ladies you meet along the way

Cons

Well there’s a list Roster comes out day before due start Payday was suppose to be Tuesday never on time sometimes it was Friday Staff are bullied Casual staff were never given notice they were just never rostered to work the next week if it suited owner and that was it never on roster again. Separation certificates required for Centrelink don’t happen. Staff are made purchase shoes required for work by cash only. I’m not a disgruntled staff member I left on my own accord because the stress of not knowing what I was working or weather I was going to be watched through the security cameras and told off for something was just getting too much. Lastly if you look back at reviews the last few were all done by managers and staff that were told by owner to do them.

Pros

Coworkers were so lovely. A shame that was the only good part of the job. I understand you don’t have to love your job, but this was something else.

Cons

Where do I even start?? Owner is incredibly arrogant and rude! - and he knows it too. He has no care in the world of who you are and what you do. All he wants you to do is SELL. But tell me, how is that possible when no proper training is given to staff on why the shoes are worth selling? He rips off designs and claim the as his own. Makes them so cheap, they break after 2 wears. I can’t even begin to count the amount of people who come back requesting for a refund/exchange for their shoes (the policy doesn’t exist within the company BY THE WAY) because they’re shoes have fallen apart. How am I supposed to tell an elderly person (the target audience of the company) that what they want isn’t possible. Couldn’t tell you the amount of guilt I felt selling $200+ shoes that shouldn’t even be called shoes to people. Don’t even get me started on the delayed pays, last minute rosters, lack of superannuation (which I have only received since leaving the company so he wouldn’t receive a lawsuit). I MEAN COME ON! He asks his employees to write reviews on here to up the star rating. Is he that blind? What will make him realise that HE is the problem. NOT HIS STAFF. So stop treating them like they are!

Pros

The customers are lovely. That's all.

Cons

-Forced to buy shoes twice a year without reimbursement. -No training for staff. -Management disrespectful to customers and staff. -No room for creativity and growth of staff. -Management micromanages, then doesn't assist when help is needed.
