Pros
I can think of a few employees who were good to work with and willing to help. We could always confide in each other. Unfortunately, we mostly shared how badly this company is run and how frustrated we were.
Cons
The culture at Foremost is absolutely toxic. Middle and upper management in the Hobart office are the root cause of the problem. Lack of communication is one of the biggest issues here - between management and lower level employees and between teams. Design does not communicate with sales, sales does not communicate with production, production doesn't communicate with QC. Actually, scratch that. There's no QC in this company. When things go wrong no one is willing to accept responsibility. They all play the blame game and point fingers at each other. How do you expect to evolve as a company if you're not willing to solve any problems? Management talks the talk but it doesn't lead anywhere. The work environment is hostile and, save for a few employees, thrives on dragging each other down. There is little to no support here, you're expected to know everything even though management doesn't communicate what is going on within your department. If you have any compassion you're seen as weak. Finally, the product is outdated and made cheaply. They make a lot of promises in terms of production that they know they can't fill - and they wonder why they're losing customers.
