Pros
- Respectful atmosphere
- Flexible PTO
- Decent compensation
- Onsite food and drinks
- Nice facility with great office space
Cons
- 6 years of non-stop, unfettered chaos. There's never a sense of regular work around here, just urgent situations and complex and expensive workarounds.
- Recognition at Forge based on visibility and popularity more than quality of work
- Many employees are held unaccountable for poor job performance or even refusal to do certain tasks.
- Alarmingly high turnover rate. So many good people have left because of the chaotic pace at Forge.
- Company used to preach work-life balance early on, but it's the opposite now. Bottom line matters most to the company.
- Communication silos and single-threadedness (a small portion of the company does the majority of the work. Vast troves of untapped new employees with little to do).
