Pros

Middle management and below are tremendous people.

Cons

Forge is a marquee example of a company from the outside appearing to be todays ideal employer, but when you actually enter the door you find a toxic stew of cronyism, cliques, and communication silos. It starts and ends with ceo tim miller, who chooses to surround himself with senior leaders that will not question his decisions for fear of severe retribution. Inevitably this culture trickles down and permeates into the greater organization. If employee retention is high it’s because they pay well for central Ohio. It’s painfully clear the only priority is to sell the organization at the expense of work/life balance. Forge’s interpretation of “Unlimited PTO” means you can never really take time away. Life is too short and there are so many other companies that value their people. Thrilled to be moving on from this disappointing experience.

Pros

- free food - okay benefits - Christmas party

Cons

Forge is all about the chain of command- especially in downstream process development. The director of PD had ann internal inflated ego to control his employees, treating lower management or associates like they are insignificant to the company. He tends to do external hires rather than internal promotions and restricts the upward mobility of employees in the department. Though people claim that forge is a full filling job that tends to save lives. It definitely didn’t feel that way as someone who has worked there. Definitely felt like a 9-5 job with a director who has made your life miserable. So glad I left
